The social order between our three labs is determined at the side gate. In a mad rush to see if the brave person walking by is barkworthy, all three dogs sprint along the side of the house and hit the gate at the same time. After a little jostling, the one year old yellow lab, Reggie, is delegated to the back of the pack.
